How we run the show

  • An operator on site for the whole show, with an emergency stop.
  • A marked perimeter between the robot and the audience.
  • An on-site technical check beforehand: floor, space, power and connectivity.
  • General liability insurance and a certificate of insurance for the venue.
  • Only units with a valid FCC authorization, checked by FCC ID.

A real robot, not an LED costume

Search for “robot for events” and a lot of what comes up is LED robot costumes: a performer in a light-up suit. They're fine for a dance floor. They're not a quadruped robot that climbs stairs or a humanoid that chats with your guests.

For agencies and producers

We work with experiential agencies and event producers: we send the spec sheet, space and insurance requirements, and build the routine around the activation's script.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a robot for an event?

A robot dog with an operator starts at $1,500 per session of up to 4 hours and a humanoid at $2,900, before sales tax. Branding, a custom routine and a conversation script are add-ons.

Is it a real robot or a person in a costume?

A real robot. Many “event robot” offers are LED robot costumes: a performer in a light-up suit. We bring real quadruped and humanoid robots, programmed and supervised by an operator.

Does the robot move on its own?

It runs programmed routines (entrances, dances, gestures, short walks) and the operator drives it live the rest of the time. That's how we make sure the show happens and nobody is at risk.

What's included?

The robot, an operator for the whole show, a safety perimeter, an on-site technical check beforehand and transport within our coverage cities. We can provide a certificate of insurance for the venue.

Do you do events outside Miami?

Yes. Our coverage cities are Miami, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York; anywhere else in the US we add travel and per diem.

Is it safe with a crowd?

Yes, with rules. Unitree's official notice for its quadrupeds advises against operating them within 1 meter of people in crowded areas, near children, the elderly or people with disabilities, and in extreme heat or cold, chemical corrosion or fire. That's why every deployment with an audience has an operator, a perimeter and an emergency stop.

Can the robot be part of the event's security?

No. The robot is there as an attraction and as content. Event security stays with licensed security staff.
